Maximize Your Talent and Pursue Your Dreams While Staying Balanced and Inspired

As a singer, coach, and counselor, I understand the full range of issues vocalists and speakers deal with today. And I can help you get to the heart of those issues and resolve them physically, emotionally, and professionally. We can explore a range of issues depending on your needs… performance conviction and clarity, developing and strengthening your voice, choosing repertoire and keys wisely, and songwriting for your own unique sound and strengths. Mindset, career development, balance, and of course, performance anxiety are all touched upon as well. Let me help you to maximize your talent and pursue your dreams while staying balanced and inspired.

It's Time To Trust Your Voice

Let’s work together to empower you to trust your voice, and yourself, and to explore singing the way it is meant to be as a natural, integrated, and joyful process.

Preparing For Your Sessions

My first book, The Art of Singing, goes into detail about the technical and emotional approach of my method. It’s a great place to start to prepare yourself for our sessions. You’ll discover that your level of confidence is directly related to your vocal success. Work with me to empower you to trust your voice, and yourself, and to explore singing the way it is meant to be… as a natural, integrated, and joyful process.

If you’re interested in releasing mental and physical inhibitions, establishing personal and performance confidence, and singing gloriously with strength and authenticity, you’ve come to the right place.

Before meeting Jennifer, I always categorized myself as dancer, singer in that order. I found Jennifer 5 years into my 7 year run at Mamma Mia on Broadway. I had studied with a dozen teachers before her who were all wonderful and helped me technically, but I still lacked confidence. In Mamma Mia we sang backup vocals for over 20 songs. We harmonized with 2-6 people in a vocal booth and had high expectations to maintain quality and consistency. As a dancer who sings this was often a daunting task. I really stressed about my tone, pitch, and just making sure I was singing the correct harmony. After only 1 session with Jennifer my life changed. We spent most of the first session chatting, it felt like therapy. Jennifer explained that the voice is very sensitive and anxiety and insecurity can really cause things to tighten up. She helped me to relax, enjoy and approach singing in the same way I do dancing. My show changed, I enjoyed my job more and I began owning my gift as a singer. I now confidently tell people that I am singer as well as a dancer. Jennifer is a gifted teacher with such a passion for her craft. I’m so blessed that I found her.
Monica Kapoor Singer and Dancer, Mamma Mia on Broadway
"Jennifer is the only person I know that addresses the issues of performance anxiety the way she does. And the best part: The goal is not only to “get by” or “get rid of", but to actually find happiness, joy and sharing where there before was dread, forcefulness and anxiousness. In person, as well as in her great books and articles, she speaks from a deep understanding which has made me leap forward in my career as a singer and performer in a new, joyful way. Thank you so much, Jen!"
Allister Kindingstad Norwegian National Opera Musical Artist, Opera Singer, Norway
"Working with Jennifer has been such a blessing. She opened up my voice in so many ways and taught me so many incredible techniques. I not only had fun working with her, but my voice is stronger and I am by far a much better singer and speaker. Thank you, Jennifer!"
"I have found my voice with Jennifer; a natural, healthy voice that was buried under years of bad habits, muscle tension, faulty technique, unhelpful definitions of singing, and negative experiences."
Vivian Williams Founder, Harlem Wellness Center, New York City
"Within the first coaching with Jennifer, I developed a more comfortable approach to singing that sounded much closer to my natural voice that I unconsciously use every day in conversation.  After a performance less than a week later heard by strangers and friends alike, I received consistent observations attesting to my increased ‘resonance’ and overall expression."
"Jennifer Hamady is insightful, warm, and knowledgeable about all things singing, performance, and human. She is, by far, one of the most precious commodities around for anyone in the performing arts industry."
Laurie Wells Broadway singer/actress, Trip of Love and Mamma Mia!
"I can honestly say that I learned more from Jennifer in two weeks than from anyone else in my career as a singer and performer. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her."
Chad Oliver Singer, Cirque du Soleil
"Jennifer is a true master when it comes to singing, and the only person I trust with my voice."
